Every World Class Manufacturing (WCM) system has a pillar dedicated to people development,
reflecting the importance of ensuring workers are trained to standard. But frontline workers need more than periodic,
formal training events to achieve world class excellence.
Tetra Pak, an award-winning leader in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), understands this truth and is committed to
making sure its people are supported and enabled as part of the company’s digital transformation. Building on a mature
and successful TPM practice, the packaging giant began a pilot last year to capture the knowledge and best practices
of senior operators nearing retirement and improve workforce efficiency by digitalizing processes.
